    City of Salisbury to Replace Valve Box on Hill Street

    March 2, 2026

    As part of the City of Salisbury’s ongoing efforts to improve, repair and maintain the municipal water distribution system, the Department of Waterworks Utilities Division will replace a valve box in the 600 block of Hill Street on Monday, March 2.

    Hill Street will be closed to all thru traffic from Delaware Avenue to 2nd Street during the work period. Crews are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and conclude around 3:30 p.m., barring any unforeseen circumstances.

    All locators and Central Alarm have been notified of the planned work.

    The City of Salisbury appreciates the patience and understanding of residents and drivers in the area.
