The City of Salisbury Department of Infrastructure and Development announces that construction of a combined restroom and pavilion at Waterside Park, located at 1001 Parsons Road, will begin today, Wednesday, February 25, 2026.
Mayor Randy Taylor said, “The Waterside Park project has been a long time in the making. The Mayor’s Office is proud to have pulled this project out of the archives and breathed life into it! It will be a vital addition to the Westside/Parsons Rd. corridor, allowing a safe place for kids to play all year long.”
During construction, no parking will be permitted on-site. Construction vehicles will regularly enter and exit the area, and motorists should expect possible delays on Parsons Road and Marine Road.
The project is expected to take 150 days to complete.
The City of Salisbury appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as this work is completed.
