SALISBURY, Maryland – As part of the City of Salisbury’s ongoing efforts to improve, repair, and maintain the Water Distribution System, the Department of Waterworks Utilities Division will be conducting fire hydrant repairs on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
The repair work will take place at the corner of East Isabella Street and Railroad Avenue, requiring the temporary closure of Railroad Avenue from East Church Street to Elizabeth Street. This closure will apply to all thru traffic, including emergency vehicles.
Flaggers will be present to manage the flow of traffic at the intersection of East Isabella Street and Railroad Avenue. Work is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. and is expected to conclude around 3:30 a.m., barring any unforeseen circumstances.
All necessary notifications, including to locators and Central Alarm, have been made in advance of this work.
