Temporary Road Closure on Camden Avenue

    January 26, 2026

The Department of Waterworks Utilities Division will be conducting repairs on a sinkhole located on the 600 block of Camden Avenue today, Monday, January 26th.

As a result, Camden Avenue will be closed to all traffic—including emergency vehicles—from Newton Street to Maryland Avenue.

Work is expected to conclude by 3:30 p.m., pending any unforeseen circumstances.

To support this effort, no street parking is requested between Market Street and Circle Avenue during the repair window.

All utility locators and Central Alarm have been notified of the planned work. We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation as we complete these necessary repairs.
